Haere mai to Marie Davis, our new Challenge Manager

We are delighted to welcome Marie Davis to the Sustainable Seas Challenge Leadership Team as the new Challenge Manager. 

Marie is an expert in project management. She joins us from Spark NZ, where she was responsible for the delivery of ICT projects for government and enterprise customers. Previously, she was an IT project manager at Kantar (formerly known as TNS Global, a market research company based in London).

Going back further, she was a Search Specialist for iSentia for two years (formerly known as Media Monitors). During this time she completed the Graduate Diploma of Information Design, which introduced her to project management through an internship.

She has also been an English teacher (TESOL) in China for seven months.

In her spare time she is learning about organic gardening. At home she has many fruit trees, a vegetable patch and raises seedlings in a glasshouse. The garden research, planning, observing and growing process keeps them occupied all year around.
