We've joined Facebook!

Yesterday we launched the Sustainable Seas Challenge Facebook page. Thanks to those who took our social media survey, it was really useful and got us here.

As we move into the second phase of our research programme, it’s as important as ever to make our work accessible to all New Zealanders and expanding our social media channels is one way to achieve this.

Give our page a like, a follow or a share – we’d love to connect with you.

Check out our first post featuring some of our people, what we're doing and why we're doing it:

Nau mai haere mai ki Ko ngā moana whakauka, welcome to Sustainable Seas National Science Challenge! Our vision is that Aotearoa has healthy marine ecosystems that provide value for every New Zealander. In the words of Sir Rob Fenwick, our Chair, “it’s absolutely fundamental that we understand how to protect this marine environment for future generations of New Zealanders.” Find out how we’re going to achieve this with #ecosystembasedmanagement, a holistic way to manage our coasts and oceans and the ways we use them #workingtogether | Sustainable Seas Challenge
